“Why Accept Failure When Success is Free?: The Rebirth of a Silent Warrior by Vizier Kamau LuQman was not only a fantastic read but also the heart-breaking-soul-warming story of his fight for life. As a reader, I was able to feel like I got to know all of Viziers friends, family, and emotions because his words were filled with so much passion. Through Vizier's words, he takes you not only through his life thus far but also, a journey of faith, family, community, perseverance, and the very real feelings that he and his family had while fighting through these battles. Aside from the story that he told, he also gave a new meaning to the word warrior. As I went through the book I developed an extreme reverence for Vizier and his family and God. This book is worth the emotional rollercoaster and I would read it a thousand times over just because of the inspiration given off by this story. The most inspiring part is that Vizier is still here with us and this is only a small part of the legacy that he will leave here. I am so excited for the next part of his journey, knowing the potential and fight that he has in him. Thank you for your story, inspiration and all of the love that you poured into this book. It was felt!”

“It is an incredible story that sows seeds of positivity, resilience, and authentic love. Vizier’s book is a heartfelt memoir of his life thus far, creatively and cleverly told in the framework of the game of basketball. The best part is reading about his support system that helped him overcome the challenges he faced and how a family is not just the people that share your last name. Oh-and it’s funny! I laughed quite a bit at his commentary as a young middle and high schooler-much of which I could personally relate to. And to read about the level of faith his family possesses, particularly his mother, is awesome! This book comes out at the right time with gems that need to be heard now and always. After reading it, I am left feeling inspired and fired up to take on life head-on and WIN at it! Looking forward to more projects in the future!”
